Maurice Werdegar
Mr. Werdegar joined WTI in 2001. His diverse background includes his most recent position as Venture Partner at iMinds Ventures, an early stage venture firm, and his prior position as Chief Investment Officer at MetaMarkets, an online mutual fund company. Mr. Werdegar also founded and served as CEO of Left at Albuquerque, a chain of restaurants. Prior to business school, Mr. Werdegar worked in corporate finance at Robertson Stephens. He holds both a BA and an MBA from Stanford.
Paul Graham
Paul Graham is a partner at Y Combinator. He is also the author of On Lisp (1993), ANSI Common Lisp (1995), and Hackers & Painters (2004). In 1995, he and Robert Morris started Viaweb, the first ASP, which in 1998 became Yahoo! Store. In 2002 he discovered a simple spam filtering algorithm that inspired the current generation of filters.
Christina Brodbeck
Christina Brodbeck is a Co-Founder and CEO of Pickv.com. Prior to Pickv, Christina most recently worked at YouTube. Joining as an early employee in 2005, she was the company's first UI Designer, and helped to create many of the site's most prominent features. Later, she went on to lead the UI Design for YouTube Mobile, and was responsible for creating an interface that brought YouTube videos to cell phones. Before joining YouTube, Christina worked at MRL Ventures, NASA Ames Research Center, and Keynote Systems. She holds a Master's Degree in Instructional Technologies from San Francisco State University, and an undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
